Netflix Has A Johnny Manziel Documentary In The Works

Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel may forever be known as one of the most polarizing football players in the history of  the sport.

The guy could do it all as the quarterback for the Texas A&M Aggies, as he was the first ever freshman to win a Heisman Trophy in 2012 and became one of the best statistical quarterbacks in college football history, with 4,600 all purpose yards that season.

However, there was the other side of Manziel off the field, and it ultimately led to his downfall as a potential star in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns.

From obscene gestures on the field, to his lack of desire to study film and the playbook to become a better quarterback, and also some major struggles with drug and alcohol abuse, he will forever be a “what if” in the game of football.

Of course, there was probably much more that went on behind the scenes that we as fans couldn’t see…

So Netflix is reliving it all, as they released a teaser for an upcoming Johnny Manziel documentary.

The 10 second teaser only shows Manziel sitting down a chair, getting ready to start filming, but that’s all we need to know.

Considering everything Manziel has experienced, from his childhood days to his unglamorous days as a professional quarterback, this one has the potential to be a great one.

Not to mention, Johnny Manziel would’ve been an NIL MONSTER during his time so in light of the recent changes in college football, and the ability to negotiate player sponsorships now, it should incredible to hear Johnny walk back though his time at A&M, knowing how college football has changed.

Not to mention, Netflix recently released a killer documentary about Manti T’eo and his fake girlfriend.

Needless to say, they’ve been killing the game with the sports documentaries here recently.
