Eric Church To Play TWO Free Shows Near San Antonio After Canceling To Go To Final Four Game

Back in March, all eyes were on the basketball court, as March Madness is like Christmas Day for a month long for basketball lovers of all shapes and sizes.

With that being said, many may remember one particular famous country artist making a bold move over the fact that Duke and North Carolina squared off in the Final Four, during Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final season…

And it was no other than Eric Church.

Church, a North Carolina native who has always been a die hard North Carolina basketball fan, decided to cancel his show in San Antonio to attend the Duke-North Carolina game to cheer on his Tar Heels.

And the game was an absolute barnburner, but that’s another story…

Many fans were understanding, considering this was a once in a lifetime kinda game, but many more were in an uproar, especially those who had bought tickets for the San Antonio show, and called the move selfish.

However, Chief promised that he would make up for it by playing a free show, and he has stayed true to his promise, and more.

The man announced that he would be playing not only one, but two shows at Whitewater Amphitheater on Thursday, September 1st, and Friday, September 2nd.

If you were a ticketholder, you will be sent a unique code that’s good for the amount of tickets you had originally purchased.

I’m sure more details will be announced at a later date, as this appears to be an email to a previous ticket holder.

I mean c’mon, did we really think ol’ Church was gonna screw over his fans? It’s hard to find a country artist in mainstream country music right now that cares more about his fans, so it was only inevitable that he would find a way to make things right.

Much respect.
