Neal McDonough Says His Time On Yellowstone Might Not Be Over: ‘We Didn’t Actually See Malcolm Beck’s Eyes Close”

Kevin Costner Yellowstone

Is Malcom Beck really dead?

That’s the million dollar question.

If you’re not through Yellowstone Season 2 yet, you might want to scroll on through… we’re getting into some spoilers.

The Beck Brothers, were the bad guys of Season 2, a pair of businessmen who were hoping to put a stop to the casino that Thomas Rainwater was building. So when John Dutton (Kevin Costner) refused to play ball with them, they resorted to kidnapping his grandson Tate.

Of course, Malcom (Neal McDonough) and Teal Beck (Terry Serpico) got dealt with the same way that most of the Dutton enemies get dealt with… death.

Or did they?

I mean, we all saw Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) put a couple in the chest of Teal Beck while he was on the shitter… he’s definitely dead. But his brother Malcolm?

John Dutton hit him with the shotgun and left him to bleed out, but technically, we never actually saw him die.

We thought Dan Jenkins was dead and lived… why can’t Malcolm?

Even Neal McDonough thinks so.

According to an interview with TV Insider, the return of Malcolm Beck isn’t out of the question:

“Did I die? Did I? I’m not so sure about that. We have talked about the fact we didn’t actually see Malcolm Beck’s eyes close.

There is always that possibility. My brother won’t be coming back for sure, but there is a possibility.”

Personally, I think Malcom is good and dead, but never say never when it comes to Taylor Sheridan.

And McDonough also said that Kevin Costner was the best actor he’s ever seen:

“I got to act across from Kevin Costner. We worked on ‘The Guardian’ many years ago. Pound for pound the greatest actor on screen. I loved my time on that show.”

Here’s a full recap of Season 2… just in case you need a little refresher.
