Elon Musk And His Brother Kimbal Just Might Be The Next Big Duo In Country Music

Elon Musk country music

Elon Musk seems to have his hand in everything these days.

Of course, he just purchased Twitter for a cool $44 billion and is the current CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, among plenty of other investments he has in his back pocket at the moment.

Needless to say, the man is a little busy these days, and he recently admitted he doesn’t even own a house right now. The richest man on the planet sleeps in friends guest rooms whenever he’s in any given town, which sounds pretty insane, but it’s true.

And ya know, since he has so much free time and seems to always be on the lookout for a new venture, maybe it’s time we get him on the stage to sing a little country music.

We’ve heard him sing some Johnny Cash before, and I think he could be just the person to shake things up in the industry right now. I mean, he had quite a few people over at Twitter damn near losing their minds over the recent purchase, and it’s pretty obvious that the institution that is country music could probably benefit from a little bit of that, too.

Back at a special session for SXSW in 2018, Elon and his brother, Kimbal Musk, treated the audience to a rendition of Randy Newman’s “My Little Buttercup” that was famously featured in the 1986 film Three Amigos!

Both donning cowboy hats, Kimbal strummed an acoustic guitar and sang on lead vocals, while Elon did some sort of bizarre dance and helped out on some backing vocals.

And y’all know we’re always on the lookout for the next big thing in country music here at Whiskey Riff, but who knew such a talented act might’ve been right in front of us this whole time:

Honestly, these two on the stage would’ve been about a billion times better (pun very much intended) than anyone on the most recent ACM Awards. I think we all would’ve tuned in for that.

Conway Twitter, Elon Jackson, Musk-adine Bloodline, Way-Elon Jennings, Yeelon Musk, Elonny Cash… even the name options are endless for the Musk Brothers.

Look out Brothers Osborne
