I don’t think it gets more patriotic than a Willie Nelson show on the 4th of July.
He just announced the details for his annual 4th of July Picnic celebration show in Austin, Texas, at Q2 Stadium, that also includes fireworks at the end of the night.
Of course, he has a kickass line up of artists joining him for the day, including Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Charley Crockett, Allison Russel, Particle Kid (his son, Micah’s band), Steve Earle & The Dukes, and Asleep at the Wheel, as well as the rest of Willie’s family band.
“We’re excited to announce Willie Nelson’s Annual 4th of July Picnic & Fireworks is coming to Q2 Stadium in Austin, TX!”
I don’t know about you, but a trip to Austin to see these incredible artists on America’s birthday sounds pretty damn epic.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, April 15th.
Willie Nelson Announces 2022 Outlaw Music Festival Tour
Willie Nelson is about to be on the road again.
He just announced his 2022 Outlaw Music Festival tour that’s set to kickoff at the end of June, and if you’ve ever wanted to see the legendary Shotgun Willie live, now is the time.
The festival, which is making a stop in over 20 cities across the country, has a stacked lineup for this year that will rotate throughout the dates, including Willie Nelson & Family, Chris Stapleton, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Billy Strings, ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule, Brothers Osborne, Zach Bryan, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Allison Russell, Charley Crockett, Larkin Poe, The War and Treaty, Brittney Spencer, Particle Kid and more.
I mean, I don’t think you can ask for much more as a country music fan, and Willie says he’s looking froward to this years Outlaw tour:
