Rob Gronkowski Reveals The One Quarterback He’d Play For Now: “It’d Be The Young Buck Joe Burrow.

When you think of the greatest quarterback/tight end tandems the NFL has ever seen, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski will always be at the top of the list.

Their chemistry on the field has been immaculate since Gronk’s rookie season in 2010, and considering the fact that the tight end came out of retirement when Brady went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it truly appeared that Brady would be the only quarterback to throw to the guy in his nine seasons in the league.

Now that the GOAT has officially retired, it’s pretty inevitable that Gronk isn’t too far behind, and he could be making the call very soon.

However, if he just so happens to stay in the league for another year or two, he admitted which quarterback he wants throwing the ball to him…

And the quarterback?

The young superstar himself, Joe Burrow.

He said during a Q-and-A for Autograph NFTs:

“I kinda like this young buck quarterback. He’s in the Super Bowl now… it’s Joe Burrow, man.

I watched him in college. I just love the way he presents himself out on the football field. In the pocket, he’s just so calm and he just slings it out on the field… I just love his swag, too.

If I had to pick a quarterback, it’d be the young buck Joe Burrow. He’s killing it right now in the game.”

I mean, I’d say that’s a VERY fair response.

His quiet confidence and leadership goes well beyond his years, and he’s already won over his teammates in the locker room in only his second year. Not to mention, he’s taken the Bengals to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989.

Can you imagine Gronk and Joe Shiesty on the same team? Them boys would be bringing some serious swag to Cincinnati.

And with Gronk’s contract up, and Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah’s contract up… could it be?
