Reba’s getting into the restaurant game.

Joining a long line of country artists with their own venues, Reba announced during her show last night at the Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant, Oklahoma that she’ll be bringing her own bar, restaurant and entertainment venue to her home state.

Reba’s Place, which will be located in Atoka, Oklahoma, is a partnership between Reba, the city of Atoka and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

The combination restaurant, bar, live music venue and retail store will be opening in late 2022.

Choctaw Nation Chief Gary Batton was on hand to help Reba make the announcement at her show:

“We are partnering with the greatest female country singer of all time… to bring Reba’s restaurant to Atoka….

We are thrilled to pieces because it going to be called Reba’s place.”

She won’t be the first country artist to open their own venue in Oklahoma though.

The original location of Blake Shelton’s Ole Red is in his hometown of Tishomingo, about 45 minutes away from Atoka.

Ole Red has since expanded to Nashville, Gatlinburg, and Orlando, and Blake recently announced that he would be opening a new location on the Vegas strip, as well as one in the Nashville airport.

Reba will join Miranda Lambert as the second female artist to have her name on her own venue, after Miranda opened Casa Rosa in downtown Nashville earlier this year.

You’ve gotta think that Reba’s Place will eventually open locations in other cities like Nashville too, so if you aren’t going to be near Atoka anytime soon, we’ll wait and see if they announce any plans for more venues in the future.

But for Reba, this one just might be worth making the trip to Oklahoma.

Gotta think Reba’s Place will have a mean corn dog on the menu.
