Jason Aldean made some headlines yesterday with the announcement of his upcoming double album, Macon, Georgia, but his wife Brittany was making headlines for a completely different reason.
Over the weekend, Brittany shared a picture of herself rocking an “Anti Biden Social Club” t-shirt from the “Unvaxxed Collection” of the apparel company Daddy T 45, with Daddy T 45 obviously being a reference to Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States.
And while that’s not necessarily breaking news (she wore an “Impeach 46” shirt recently as well), a picture of her kids, Navy and Memphis, rocking “Hidin’ From Biden” shirts from the same online store, set off a much larger conversation (argument) about politics, indoctrination, raising kids, and more…
Much like this country right now, the comments section was pretty divided, with some loving the anti-Biden message, and others thinking she shouldn’t be using her children to promote her political views.
However, one commenter in particular said that the Aldeans were “raising that kid right,” to which another replied, saying they were raising him to be a piece of shit.
“OK and his MOTHER put this on him. Which will teach him to be what? A piece of shit… it starts young. How else did Hitler teach the younger youth to become murderous heathens then by makings things like this.”
Which of course set off a firestorm in the comments with Jason himself even getting involved.
He immediately responded to the lady, telling her to watch her mouth:
“Watch your mouth lady! We teach our kids what we think is right and what we think is best for their future.
If you think what is happening now is “great” for the future of our kids and grandkids, you are delusional.”
Another woman responded saying that Trump’s path for American wasn’t any better, to which, he responded:
“Definitely better than what we got now! Please tell me one thing that the current administration has done that’s positive? Just one!”
Politics… amirite?
Of course, Brittany made it clear which side of the aisle she fell on during the election.
Back in November, Brittany Aldean questioned the legitimacy of the election, said Donald Trump was “still her president,” and even shared a meme of Biden in a wheelchair.
And after the recent evacuation of Afghanistan, one that resulted in the tragic death of 13 United States Military, Brittany has been even more vocal about her disdain for president Joe Biden.
According to Fox News, while expressing her anger over the situation in Afghanistan, she also encouraged others to stand up for what they believe in, even when it’s not popular.
“I personally don’t give a damn if people don’t agree with me. I think it’s important now more than ever to stand for what you believe, even if it ‘goes against the grain.’
Do your research, and form your own opinion – speak out if you wish. But most importantly, don’t bully people who feel differently than you.”
She also shared a picture in a “USA” jersey shirt that featured “Aldean” as the name on the back and “45” for the number, another nod to former President Donald Trump.
