Skateboarding is in the Olympics for the first time ever, and it’s brought a whole new level of excitement to the games.
One of the guys who has been making the most noise in the games so far is American skateboarder Jagger Eaton, who won a bronze metal on the biggest stage of his career.
The Mesa, Arizona, native has also done a great job being completely transparent with fans.
How so, you ask?
The 20-year-old created his very own public Spotify playlist after much speculation from fans on social media, so fans from all around can get a taste of what music the guy prefers. How many times have you thought to yourself:
“I wonder what kind of music professional athletes listen to?”
I mean seriously, you see all of these athletes with the AirPods or Beats before games or events, and you can’t help but wonder if they’re blaring rap, listening to country, or even blasting death metal.
In fact, it turns out Eaton is actually a BIG country music guy.
He said in a recent interview with 12 News:
“The music I listen to before competing is a little bit of old country and rap… that comes from my roots honestly.”
On his playlist, you’ll find some Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson, Toby Keith, Jon Pardi, Hardy, The Charlie Daniels Band, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, more.
So, if you’ve ever wondered what Jagger is blasting before an event, just know he could be listening to some “Long Haired Country Boy” by The Charlie Daniels Band.
