Well it appears that he recently took the stage at FishLipz Grill in Smithville, TN and once again ignited some controversy with a rant that made its way to the internet.
In the video, first shared by TMZ, Kid Rock is onstage and isn’t happy that people in the crowd have their iPhones out filming him. (I mean, he should be used to people having their phones out recording literally everything, right?)
Kid Rock flips off the camera, and then goes into a song/rant while dropping the homophobic slur:
“F**k your iPhone. You can post this, you can post this, you can post this dick right now. You f**king f*****s with your phones out.”
A man behind Kid Rock appears to be gesturing to the person behind the camera to get out or stop recording, but to no avail, while others in the crowd cheer on the outburst.
There’s been no comment so far from Kid Rock on the video, however during the aforementioned Joy Behar debacle, he had this to say:
“I am just saying what a lot of people think. Not saying I should be, but sometimes I just do.
Oh well. I have a big mouth and drink too much sometimes, shocker!”
So, if we’ve learned anything at all about Kid Rock over the years, it’s that he REALLY doesn’t care what he says or what people think about him.
