Bud Light Mike strikes again.
New Jersey native, and now, resident Florida Man, Bud Light Mike was once again busted for stealing Bud Light from a local Publix grocery store. According to police, he snagged a 24-pack of Bud Light and left the store. When police caught up with him, he was in possession of 21 of those cans.
“He was observed walking inside Publix obtaining a case of Bud Light cans 12oz. and walking out beyond the point of sale and outside the store.”
Over the years, Bud Light Mike has become a bit of a celebrity in Clearwater, Florida, with a lengthy rap sheet of Bud Light offenses.
According to the New York Daily News, he was convicted for stealing Bud Light back in April, and has been busted for carrying open containers of Bud Light at both the beach and at a bus stop. He was arrested for stealing beer from a Speedway, and also ordering a Bud Light from a hotel bar where he couldn’t pay his tab. Not to mention he has convictions for trespassing, DUI, battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, defrauding an innkeeper, witness tampering, auto theft, cocaine possession, aggravated battery, leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving, disorderly intoxication, and more.
Imagine loving Bud Light THIS much? So much that you can’t stop stealing it. So much that you’ve become the town Bud Light thief. Lock up your fridges people, Bud Light Mike just got out of jail. Always something to see in Florida, amiright?
But I wonder… is it possible to commit so many petty crimes that police just stop caring? There has to be a point where police get the Bud Light Mike call and just show up and say “dammit Mike, put it back… I’m tired of doing paper work over this bullshit.”
