Oh, here we go…

Last night’s CMT Awards we’re largely uneventful, save for Luke Combs shotgunning a beer on stage with Brooks and Dunn and Blake Shelton calling out awards shows for their lack of credibility.

Carrie Underwood took home the night’s top honor with the award for Video Of The Year, but there was plenty of other chatter on the Twitter regarding a couple of the night’s collaborative performances.

Most notably: Kelsea Ballerini’s duet with Halsey and Jimmie Allen’s duet with Noah Cyrus.

But it wasn’t necessarily all about the music, it was about what they were wearing.

Channeling their inner Coyote Ugly, Kelsea and Halsey teamed up for a performance of “The Other Girl.”

Meanwhile, Jimmie and Noah performed their duet “This Is Us.”

And the Twitter moms had some comments. Many were calling their clothing “stripper-esque,” and criticizing them for not being good role models to young women.

Here’s just a few of the comments, but you get the picture.

Noah’s haters added more of the same:

Kelsea responded on Twitter reminding folks that if they don’t have something nice to say, they can “politely shut up.”

Noah was a little more direct.

Haters gonna hate.

The Twitter morality police in full force, eh? You gotta love it…
