Long-Awaited Collaboration Between Morgan Wallen & Drake Is Officially On The Way

So this is what he had up his sleeve…

Today, Morgan Wallen announced that his official collaboration with rap superstar Drake is on the way, which will be the finished version of “Interlude,” a 44-second track featured on Wallen’s 2025 album, I’m The Problem. Songwriter Blake Pendergrass previously confirmed that “Interlude” is a snippet from a longer song titled “Wrong Way,” and it looks like that long-awaited Drake and Morgan collaboration will finally happen on that song, which fans have been speculating about for a while.

Wallen is no stranger to the rap world, as he recently featured Rick Ross and Lil Wayne on a remix of his highly controversial song “Miami,” in addition to having the hit “Broadway Girls” with Lil Durk.

Considering Morgan recently shared a cryptic post on Instagram saying he’s ready to come out of “hibernation,” which featured a photo of him in the studio as he gears up for his massive Still The Problem tour, the timing couldn’t be more perfect:

“I guess it’s about time I come out of hibernation for a bit.”

Fans have been thinking Morgan is going to put out a deluxe edition of Still The Problem for the last several months, and it looks like they were right at least about the new song part… we’ll see if a full extended version is coming because there’s no confirmation of that yet:

Of course, Wallen appeared alongside Drake in his music video for “You Broke My Heart” in 2023, and Drake did the iconic walkout with Morgan before his concert in Houston back in June of last year, so it’s clear that the two musical giants have formed somewhat of a friendship. There was also the hilarious clip of Drake on a livestream telling his viewers he needs to “play some of that Morgs,” and it’s pretty clear the two have been all but teasing fans with a crossover:

Drake also walked out in an Ariat jacket with a photo of Wallen’s face from the I’m The Problem album cover on the back of it during the second of three concerts in Berlin last year:

Drake and Morgan both are massive stars, two of the biggest in the whole music industry, and Drake is actually the highest-selling artist of all time with over 298.5 million units sold in the U.S., according to the RIAA and Wallen himself continually breaking Billboard records and dominating the charts, so a collaboration between the two feels like a no-brainer.

It’s obvious they’ve had something in the works for a while now, and a release date is still forthcoming , so stay tuned…

APRIL FOOL’S!

Unfortunately for both Wallen and Drake fans, they haven’t announced anything at all, and I have no idea if there’s a collaboration in the works or if there ever will be. It does seem like they’ve been hinting at something, and like I said, it would make a TON of sense from a business standpoint alone, but who knows…

I wouldn’t be shocked at all to learn eventually this might actually happen, but for now, it’s just a hope and a dream for all of their fans.
