Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton To Headline 2024 ‘Austin City Limits’ Music Festival

Austin City Limits festival just announced the 2024 lineup, which includes Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson, as the country headliners, along with Dua Lipa, Tyler, The Creator, blink-182 also headlining the massive, two-weekend festival.

It’s the second festival Simpson is slated to headline this year, as he was previously announced as the headliner for Outside Lands festival in California. It’s exciting to see his name back on a couple lineups, and it remains to be seen if there’s more coming from him… stay tuned.

In addition, the Red Clay Strays, Orville Peck, Mickey Guyton, Emily Nenni, Tyler Halverson, Braxton Keith and more will play the festival as country acts, along with popular artist like Leon Bridges, Carin León, Norah Jones, Reneé Rapp, Foster The People, Kehlani (W1), Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, CAAMP, Dominic Fike, The Marías, Jungle, Dom Dolla, Chappell Roan and more.

The nine-stage, two weekend music celebration will take place October 4th through the 6th, and October 13th through 15th at Zilker Park, and fittingly, more than 30 Texas artists will grace this year’s ACL Fest stages.

Of course, Willie Nelson helped launch the program that spawned this festival, Austin City Limits, appearing on the pilot episode of the program n October 17th, 1974. It’s an incredible, long-standing variety show and music program that has featured many talented artists from across musical genres, and they deliver with varied, vast lineups for the festival every year.
