Megan Rapinoe is back at it again with the hot takes.

The U.S. National Women’s Soccer star has never shied away from an opportunity to share a bold opinion.

Last month, Rapinoe said that tearing her Achilles tendon in her last game of her career was proof that there isn’t a God, saying:

“I’m not a religious person or anything, and if there was a God, like, this is proof that there isn’t. This is f*cked up.”

Of course, she was probably incredibly frustrated to see her storied career come to an end like this, but you can imagine how that statement rubbed several people the wrong way.

And now, Rapinoe is back at it again.

The 38-year-old was featured in the Netflix documentary Under Pressure: The US Women’s World Cup Team, where she went on to claim that playing on the World Cup team was “the worst job in the world.”

She said:

“I always say it’s the worst job in the world because if you do your job, then you were supposed to, and if you do one hair less, then you are gonna get lambasted for it.”

This year’s U.S. Women’s World Cup team failed to finish in the top three for the first time since 1991, after being knocked out by Sweden in a 5-4 loss, where Rapinoe missed a penalty kick.

There’s one thing for certain about ol’ Megan, and it’s that she’s gonna say what’s on her mind no matter the cost.
