Throwback To Morgan Wallen And Lainey Wilson’s Awesome Medley Of Covers Way Before They Were Megastars

These two have come a very long way since 2019.

About four years ago or so, Lainey Wilson was on the road with Morgan Wallen, opening for him at considerably smaller venues across the country.

Of course, now, they’re two of the biggest names in mainstream country music, both competing for the CMA Awards for Entertainer of the Year this year (which ultimately went to Lainey).

Morgan is selling out stadiums, crushing the radio charts and dominating streaming services, and I always love looking back on their early days.

It’s easy to say now, but they both had so much star power and charisma on stage, and hopefully, they might even have a duet coming sometime next year.

But back at The Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado in 2019, the two of them teamed up for a rousing medley of hits including Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody,” Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” and Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” which Morgan used to cover often on stage.

It’s a fun little trip down memory lane, and I love all three of those songs, so their song choices are perfectly on point too, in my humble opinion.
