What would you do in this situation?
According to News 18, this video was originally shared by the Indian Forest Services Officer Susanta Nanda.
In the wild video footage, you can see a doe charging out of the brush, and heading directly towards a hunter.
Wildly enough, the doe comes to a screeching stop, as the hunter holds its gun right in between the doe’s eyes as it stands only inches away from the hunter. However, it appears the hunter has a change of heart, putting his weapon down and deciding not to shoot the doe.
In fact, the doe continues to stand there, and even lets the hunter scratch its head.
This is wild, because we all know how skittish deer are when it comes to human interaction. It appears that this doe didn’t notice the hunter until it literally ran directly in front of him.
You can literally imagine the doe thinking:
“Ah man, I f*cked up.”
Right when it comes to the stop and realizes there is a gun between its eyes.
Considering it was just a doe played a huge factor into why the hunter decided not to pull the trigger, along with the shock of knowing that this was a once in a lifetime scenario.
I guess the question is, would you be able to have this kind of self control in this situation?
