I’ll admit, Alabama head football coach Nick Saban seems like the kind of guy who will coach football until the day he dies.

Seriously, the guy is one of the most intense coaches in the game, and appears to live and breathe football.

However, there may be a possible sign that retirement may be coming soon for the seven-time National Championship winning coach…

Okay, probably not, but the man did buy a $17.5 million home in Jupiter Island, Florida.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the home features 1.68 acres of property on Jupiter Island, and was bought by Saban back on April 18th.

The home was originally built in 1992, and the 6,200-square-foot house was renovated in 2016. It features six bedrooms and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. It also has a guest suite with a kitchenette, along with a private dock and boat lift.

Of course the new home has sparked rumors online that the legendary coach is making plans to retire soon.

I think I speak for everybody who is not an Alabama fan in this world in saying that I hope that this is a sign that he’s planning on hanging it up soon, considering he’s arguably the greatest college football coach of all time and has destroyed more dreams for fans of other teams than any other coach.

Of course, I’m not getting my hopes up, because I’m fully convinced that the guy can’t make it a day without thinking about football.

Regardless of his reasoning for buying the new home, he and his family will have a sweet place to kick back in in Florida.

I mean, as much stress as he’s putting on himself with rage fits like this, some relaxation would probably do him good…
