Another cryptic video from another fantastic artist.
This time, Charles Wesley Godwin is behind the share button.
Just shared to Instagram is a video of Godwin in a field strumming his guitar, sounding like a song intro. The caption notes the date for something dropping this Friday.

While many artists have been posting cryptic videos like this recently, I think it is safe to say we are getting a new single this week.
Godwin has teased that something had been cooking up for a while now. He has noted that an album titled Family Ties is set to drop this year, but no release date has been set.
Could this be the month?
Three days ago, he posted another video of him playing a melody, unlike his other tracks. The caption notes that his month (August) has a lot in store for him.
“About to be a hell of a month! Can’t wait to share what’s been cooking! Been a long time coming. LET’S GOOOO.”
Coming off the heels of his Stage AE documentary premiere, which featured an unreleased song, “All Again,” Godwin knows to ride the press buzz to drop another project.
It is well worth it if you haven’t watched the full documentary, but if you want to catch the part featuring “All Again,” skip to 7:30.
Ironically this was also the only part of the documentary that did not get its own video feature on his YouTube channel right after its release.
Could it be because this is what is dropping Friday?

In late June, he also teased a tune titled “Christian Name” on Instagram, which could be another contender.
Regardless of what is in store, we have a new CWG right around the corner, and hopefully, this single release means the album is shortly behind it.
