IT’S HAPPENING.
Tyler Childers is officially dropping music this week, announcing this morning on his social media channels that a new single “In Your Love” will be out everywhere this Thursday:
“In Your Love.’ Thursday 8AMET.”
He also shared a clip of the accompanying video, which shows a group of coal miners in some sort of fight, that matches up with all the previous teasers he posted:
Over the last few days, Tyler has been hinting that an announcement might be coming soon, recently changing his social media profile photos and even sharing a few cryptic videos over on Instagram.
Fans (myself included) hoped that meant at least a new song was on the way, and it’s safe to say now that Thursday can’t get here soon enough.
He most recently put out his gospel album Can I Take My Hounds To Heaven? in 2022, and prior to that, released Long Violent History in 2020.
Needless to say, it’s been quite a while since we’ve gotten a real deal country record from the Kentucky native, and hopefully this is just the beginning of much more to come.
The music video will be available Thursday morning, as well. Buckle up…
