Some incredibly heartbreaking news coming from LeBron James’s family.
According to ESPN, Bronny James, the oldest son of LeBron, suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday.
Luckily, he’s in stable condition.
A James family spokesperson said in a statement:
“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.
We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.
LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”
The 18-year-old is gearing up to enter his freshman year with the USC Trojans, as he’s ranked the 20th best player in the 2023 ESPN 100 rankings.
He’s the sixth rated point guard in the class of 2023.
You hate to see something this horrific happen to anybody, much less a teen who is about to enter the biggest stage of his young basketball career.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the James family, and we hope that Bronny is able to make a full, speedy recovery.
