If you’re on social media pretty consistently, then you’ve probably been seeing this new trend where climate change activists sit in the middle of the street and block traffic in protest of climate change.
I’m all for having your own opinion and expressing it however you choose, but I have to admit, if I was running late to work and traffic was in a standstill because a few climate activists were sitting crisscross applesauce in the middle of the road, then I would have to politely get out of my car and remove them.
Seriously, there are better ways to protest your opinion than to ruin someone’s day.
Of course, we have people out here gluing their hands to the road so I’m not sure making smart decisions is their strong suit…
With that being said, more video footage is going viral from Germany, featuring more climate activists holding up traffic, and more drivers going nuts on them. However, one in particular is gaining even more notoriety for her handling of these clowns.
She’s been dubbed the “brutal blonde” by much of European media.
In the footage, you can hear the woman scream at the protestor to “get up,” after they were blocking the road in Bottrop, Germany.
But, the person wasn’t budging, so the woman took matters into her own hands and grabbed the protestor by her hair, and dragged her to the side of the road.
The protestor didn’t back down, and went right back to the middle of the road.
So, the blonde woman went right back over there, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her off the road a second time. She didn’t want the smoke after that…
According to the New York Post, police in Recklinghausen said the activist was lightly injured, and police say they’re looking into videos and photos of the incident to see if the blonde woman will be charged.
They also added that the climate activists were taken into custody as well.
Needless to say, this was just a messy situation for both sides, and obviously the result your going to get if police don’t step in and remove these people from the street.
