If you’ve ever been to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area, then you know the place is popular for its packed beaches, 50 million Waves and Wings stores, and all you can eat seafood buffets.
And one of those seafood buffets was caught on camera, but I’m not talking about calabash shrimp…
I’m talking about a few sharks going to TOWN on a massive bait ball.
This wild scene went down in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, which is just outside of Myrtle Beach.
Now if you aren’t too familiar with the term bait ball, it’s a massive group of small fish that swim in a packed-together, spherical formation.
As you can see in this video, thousands of small fish are swimming together just off the coast of Pawley’s Island.
However, things begin to go south when a few sharks decide that this is the perfect opportunity for a massive dinner.
You can see the sharks breaking right through the formation, and chomping at whatever fish they can get.
Needless to say, this is what I’d like to call taking advantage of an opportunity.
Not gonna lie, as a South Carolinian myself who has been to both Pawley’s Island and Myrtle Beach several times, it’s pretty wild to know that I could be swimming out in the ocean, and something like this could be going on just several yards away.
