It’s no secret that Taylor Sheridan may be the busiest man in all of show biz.
The man has been putting out shows from left to right, including Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, 1883, 1923, Tulsa King, and that’s all been within the past couple of years.
And needless to say, he isn’t stopping anytime soon, as he currently has his upcoming show Lawman: Bass Reeves in the works.
With that being said, Sheridan has yet another show in the works as well dubbed Special Ops: Lioness.
According to Military Times, the show will be on Paramount+, and is a CIA thriller based off the Lioness Program, which was a program in which the Marine Corps assigned women to combat units in Iraq and Afghanistan in an effort to find potential female insurgents while still respecting their culture and local belief systems that prohibit unknown men from touching women.
The show will star Zoe Saldana, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, and Laysla De Oliviera.
Paramount+ says the show will:
“follows the life of Joe (Saldana) while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror.
The Lioness Program, overseen by Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Kelly), enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (De Oliveira) to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the CIA’s efforts to thwart the next 9/11.”
Special Ops: Lioness is slated to drop on Paramount+ on July 23rd, and has an official teaser out now:
