American Idol had a huge finale last night, and part of what made it so memorable was the fact that genre-bending singer/songwriter Jelly Roll had two kick-ass performances.

And if that wasn’t enough, the 3-time CMT Award winner also announced his track list from his debut country project Whitsitt Chapel earlier today.

All on the heels of a great podcast with Joe Rogan.

Long story short, if you are a Jelly Roll fan, you’ve had a pretty good past 24 hours.

On last night’s finale of American Idol, Jelly performed two songs from his upcoming album. He first sang his hit song “Save Me” with Lainey Wilson, and then brought the house down with a performance of his current radio single “Need A Favor” with the support of Oliver Steele, a former Idol contestant.

Those who were tuned in to the finale were also surprised with a sneak peak promo for Jelly Roll’s upcoming documentary Jelly Roll: Save Me, which becomes available to stream on Hulu on May 30th.

If you happened to miss it, you can also tune into Good Morning America tomorrow when they reveal the first official look at the trailer for the highly anticipated documentary.

Before we get into the release of the set list for Whitsitt Chapel, take a quick look at the rocking duets that Jelly Roll pulled off with Lainey Wilson and Oliver Steele:

Now, getting into the other exciting side of the story, Jelly Roll must have been feeling the momentum after American Idol last night because he released the entire track list for his upcoming country album.

Whitsitt Chapel will consist  of 13 total songs, and if the names of the tracks in the listing itself doesn’t do it for you, maybe seeing the grouping of co-writers will bolster your excitement.

The project was helped out by a plethora of recognizable names in the industry, including revealing co-writers including HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Matt Jenkins, Jesse Frasure, Hillary Lindsey, Jessie Jo Dillon, Hunter Phelps, Austin Nivarel, Michael Whitworth, producer Zach Crowell and more.
