Toronto Man Arrested For Beating A Man With… His Pet Python?

Snake attack

If you’ve witnessed a fight before, then you know that those involved typically pick up anything they have around them and use them as a weapon/to defend themselves.

Fists, cups, snacks, beer bottles, pool sticks, chairs, the list goes on and on, and it’s just a natural instinct when the adrenaline starts pumping and you’re ready to whoop some a**.

With that being said, this is a first for me, and I highly doubt I’ll ever see something like this again.

According to CBC News, it all went down in Toronto, Canada around 11:50 PM  last Wednesday in the Dundas Street West and Manning Avenue area.

This statement the Toronto Police sent out says it all:

“There was a physical altercation and the man used the python to attack the victim.”

Sure enough, in the wild video footage you can see two dudes brawling in the middle of the street, and one of the guys whacking the everlivin’ hell out of the other with a python, sending him to the ground.

The fight was very brief, as the cop pulled up and yelled:

“GET ON THE GROUND, NOW! GET ON THE GROUND!”

Not gonna lie, that python looks like it would hurt so bad to get hit by.

But the better question is, why in the world was this guy walking around with a pet python in the first place?

The culprit was identified as Toronto resident Laurenio Avila, 45, who was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and causing unnecessary pain or suffering to an animal.

Who would’ve thought ol’ Toronto got rowdy like this?
