Parker McCollum’s “Handle On You” is already certified Gold, and as of this past weekend, now a #1 hit.

He scored his third straight #1 at country radio this weekend with his honky tonk heartbreaker, which is the lead single from his forthcoming studio album Never Enough.

It peaked at the top of the Mediabase chart, which is one of two radio charts labels use to officially track their songs performance (along with the Billboard Country Airplay chart).

Parker noted how special it is to be putting out a new project that already features a #1 hit:

“Thank y’all for making ‘Handle On You’ my third #1.

Releasing a new album with a #1 already on it is really special and I’m glad Country radio digs it. Thank you to my fans and thank you Country Radio!”

He also shared a post on Instagram, thanking country radio for spinning his songs, saying he is “eternally grateful”:

“Killer crowd last night in Missouri! Woke up to Handle On You being #1 at country radio!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU COUNTRY RADIO!!!!3 #1’s in a row… eternally grateful!”

His previous #1’s were featured on his debut studio album Gold Chain Cowboy, “To Be Loved By You” and “Pretty Heart.”

A co-write by Parker and Monty Criswell, “Handle On You” finds Parker drinking to get over a break-up and trying to get a handle on his emotions through the bottom of a bottle, knowing that he shouldn’t be drinking so much but, “I tell myself that I should quit but I don’t listen to drunks.”

I just love that line…

Never Enough will be out everywhere this Friday, May 12th.
