It looks like Miranda Lambert has a collaboration with Dierks Bentley coming soon.
She shared a little teaser of them in the studio, as well as a bit of a song, on her social media, so hopefully this means we’ll get to hear what I’m assuming is a brand new tune sooner rather than later:
Miranda recently parted ways rather abruptly with her longtime label Sony, so this will likely be her first independent release (assuming she hasn’t signed with a new label we don’t know about yet).
And she’s been on a pretty extensive press tour in promotion of her new cookbook Y’all Eat Yet? and teased on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this week that she has a couple collabs up her sleeve, and that they’re coming “very soon”:
“I’ve got a couple collaborations up my sleeve, so very soon.”
Dierks is seemingly the first one, and I’m really excited to see who else Miranda has been working with for hopefully a new album or some other project of that nature:
Miranda was most recently featured on a duet with Luke Combs called “Outrunnin’ Your Memory” from his 2022 studio album Growin’ Up, which is still one of my favorite songs on the tracklist.
