It’s a great day to be a Turnpike Troubadours fan.

The legendary country band from Oklahoma announced today that they have a new record coming our way August 25th, titled A Cat In The Rain.

And even better than that, their highly anticipated lead single, “Mean Old Sun,” is slated to drop this Friday, May 5th.

We’ve waited a long six years since the last time they put out a new record, with their 2017 A Long Way from Your Heart album, and as a longtime fan myself, I couldn’t be more excited.

The band is back together and packing out venue after venue, just like they never went on a hiatus in the first place.

So naturally, I’ve found myself going through a few Turnpike Troubadours rabbit holes on YouTube, and came across their full set for their performance at Stagecoach this year, in Indio, California.

We previously shared the debut live performance of “Mean Old Sun,” but today, we’re back with the full set.

Man, I would’ve paid a lot of money to have been in that crowd, because you can tell the energy was absolutely through the roof.

For the set, they kicked off with “Before The Devil Knows We’re Dead,” then “Pay No Rent,” to “Every Girl.”

They then went to “7&7,” and after, they performed their upcoming single “Mean Old Sun.” Next up was “Whole Damn Town,” “Kansas City Southern,” and last but not least, they played “1968.”
