Ole’ Tom Brady just seems to keep finding his way back into the headlines even after he retired from football for a second time.
The 7-time Super Bowl Champion divorced his longtime model wife Gisele Bündchen late last year as he started his final year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.
The split was shocking to most, and though the couple is no longer together, they have both been in the news (a lot) since the divorce.
It has been revealed that Brady is back on the dating scene, with even a wild rumor swirling for a while that him and Reese Witherspoon were a possible item. He was also previously linked to model Veronika Rajek, however that seemed to just be internet rumors as well.
However, based on this new report that has surfaced, it seems that “The GOAT” is looking for something a little more under the radar.
An inside source close to the legendary athlete has been spilling the beans about Tom’s relationship preferences. He now appears to be searching for someone more traditional and conservative than his supermodel ex.
The source from Radar Online states:
“After Gisele, Tom is done with models.
Gisele still knows everyone in the modeling industry, and the last thing he needs is his ex-wife involved in his future love life.”
You know what? That second part of the quote makes a lot of sense.
Tom is surely more concerned about parenting his kids more than anything, but when it does come time to worry about a romantic relationship, he is seeking a situation that won’t foster drama. If he dove back into the “supermodel pool,” he’d always have to be concerned about a potential connection to his ex-wife.
It just doesn’t make sense for Brady to bring that senseless worry into his next relationship.
Plus (correct me if I’m wrong), I don’t think there are a ton of supermodels out there. Sure, you have your dime a dozen Instagram models, and then some runway models, but Gisele-caliber supermodels gotta be few and far between, right? Surely Tom can “find love in a hopeless (or hopeful) place” sometime soon.
