“Crazy Town” Bandmates Get Into Bloody Brawl Following Show, Get Kicked Off Tour

Crazy town fight

The Nu Metal Madness 2 Tour somehow seems to be a little too “metal,” and now one of the bands featured in the tour has been kicked off.

Ironically named “Crazy Town,” famous for their lone 2000 hit “Butterfly,” the band got into quite the scuffle following their show at The Boathouse in Myrtle Beach, California. The now viral video shows band members Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer and Bobby Reeves exchanging physical and verbal blows with one other.

The fight apparently broke out because singer Binzer did not come out onto stage until the final song of the group’s set. During their only hit song, Reeves handed the mic off to a fan.

Tough scene…

It appears that Reeves told Binzer he would not be paid for his appearance since he came out so late, causing Binzer to go ballistic in a barrage of kicks and punches.

The two band members fight and yell at one another about “stealing money” and whether the payment for the performance are owed or not owed to one another.

The words exchanged between the two in the video during their fight are incredibly offensive and vulgar, with a beaten and bloody Reeves even threatening to kill Binzer’s children.

Warning… it’s pretty vile:

The above fight resulted in Crazy Town being kicked off the tour, which was revealed by Hed PE frontman Jared Gomes.

In the Instagram video, Gomes states:

“I just want to check in and give you an update on what’s going on out here. Hed PE had to kick Crazy Town off the tour.

We’re not saints by any means, Hed PE has done some crazy s**t and I’m not trying to pass judgement on Crazy Town.

Whatever has gone on with us, we’ve always tried to come with a good rock show, and because of what’s going on with Seth (Binzer) and Crazy Town right now, you know, Seth needs help.

We can’t just sit by on the road while Seth is battling demons.”

You can tell by Gomes demeanor that he did not want to have to remove Crazy Town from the tour, but he was left with no choice and hopes to help the struggling band.

The caption for the video reads:

“We wanted you to hear it from us, but Crazy Town have been removed from The Nu Metal Madness 2 Tour.

The show must go on and the tour will continue…”

Binzer has endured a longtime battle with substance abuse, appearing on two season of Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab and two seasons on Sober House.
