Last year, ARCA driver Toni Breidinger announced that she was joining Victoria’s Secret as a lingerie model.
And now, she’s taking her career a notch further, as she’s partnering up with Victoria’s Secret as her sponsor for a NASCAR Truck Series ride, according to FOX News.
Breidinger will join enter the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway on May 6th, driving the #1 Victoria’s Secret Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage.
She’s currently racing part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and full-time in the Toyota GR Cup. She has nine top-10 finishes thus far in her ARCA career.
Breidinger announced in a statement:
“When I was younger, I dreamed of being a racecar driver and a Victoria’s Secret model. I was told I couldn’t do both, but here I am—I’ll be driving the No. 1 Victoria’s Secret Toyota Tundra TRD Pro at Kansas!
I’m endlessly grateful to the Victoria’s Secret team for believing in not only me, but women in sports. A huge thanks to Toyota Racing Development and TRICON Garage for this opportunity. It’s going to be a learning curve, but I’m ready to soak up every bit of it.”
She will also make history as the first Arab American woman to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Hailie Deegan is the only active female driver in the Truck Series, with other female active female drivers Jessica Friesen having yet to qualify for an event this season, and Jennifer Jo Cobb not attempting any races yet this season.
