Kylie Frey Is Back With First Solo Single In Years, “Red Dirt Cinderella”

Kylie Frey country music

We’ve got a great new tune from Kylie Frey today.

She released a new song called “Red Dirt Cinderella,” her first official solo single in quite a few years, and I absolutely love it.

Her vocals sound incredible, as she comes to terms with the end of a relationship, admitting that she’s no “red dirt Cinderella” and needs to move on without a glass slipper like some fairytale because her “Lucchese’s fit just fine.”

The play on words and the concept of this song are so original and unique, and I’m hoping there’s much more new music to come from her in the near future:

“#RedDirtCinderella is HERE! I’ve been playing it live for a while because it’s one that means a lot to me – and that makes me even more excited to say it’s out now.

Take a listen and let me know what you think 🤍”

Kylie also shared a post on Instagram saying how excited she is to finally have some new music out, adding that it has a “freakin’ accordion on it,” which certainly adds a neat sound and layer to the production here:

“Okay, I know it’s been like three years since I’ve put out new music, but I am happy to announce that I finally have a song out today.

It’s called ‘Red Dirt Cinderella,’ it’s got a freakin’ accordion on it, I hope that you like it. Please go listen and let me know what you think.”

Do yourself a favor and check it out… it’s easily one of my favorite new releases this week and I already have it on repeat:
