‘Yellowstone’ Fans Are Getting Very Impatient…

John Dutton Yellowstone

Man, Yellowstone fans are not happy.

There’s still a lot of uncertainty about Kevin Costner’s future on the show, after there was allegedly a conflict in scheduling between Costner and the show.

The famed actor who plays John Dutton reportedly only wanted one week to film the second half of season five due to his busy schedule that involves his upcoming western movie Horizon, and there was allegedly a disagreement there.

Things have been pretty hush hush, and it’s looking like we won’t get the second half of season five until at least November, much later than the original summer premiere date.

Since, we now know that the rumored Matthew McConaughey spinoff series is a full go, regardless of Costner’s future on the show.

Yellowstone exec Keith Cox recently made an appearance at PaleyFest in the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and had some promising words about Costner’s future, saying:

“What I can say is our star, the face of our show, and executive producer, are very confident he is going to continue with our show.”

It’s great news, but it still isn’t written in stone, and he could just be talking about Costner making an appearance just to get killed off, but I guess time will tell.

Regardless of what’s going on, it’s easy to see that Yellowstone fans are beginning to get really impatient, and they proved that after a recent Instagram post from the show.

The post contains a video of John Dutton (Costner) saying:

“I’m gonna need a drink for this.”

With the words:

“And it’s only Monday”

Considering they posted a video of the guy who may not even be on the show much longer, the comments were flooded with responses like:

“This has been too long of a wait for us fans.”

“I love this show but this wait is ridiculous.”

“Loving this show is like meeting the love of your life, but then they leave you. It’s disappointing to have to wait so long for it to resume. You lose passion for it.”

“Costner needs to go if he doesn’t want to work. Write him out or replace him with somebody else.”

“Hey Costner, do your job and finish filming!”

“Who will support Kevin Costner on other endeavors if he f*cks up Yellowstone for us? NOT ME!”

“My question does anyone have the slightest idea when this crazy show will comeback? Or does anyone even care anymore? Asking for a friend”

And those are just a few examples of several more negative comments.

The clock is definitely ticking.

In the meantime, check out the full Season 1 recap of the Yellowstone prequel series, 1923.
