Baltimore Orioles Unleash Incredible Beer Funnel Home Run Celebration In The Dugout

The perfect home run celebration doesn’t exi…

Until now.

The Baltimore Ravens had their best season in a hot minute last year, going 83-79, and returned a ton of young talent from last year.

So, when you mix coming off a solid season, and a youthful team, what do you get?

You get the beer funnel celebration.

Okay, okay, I’m not talking about actual beer, but last night when the O Birds were squaring off against the Oakland Athletics last night, we saw the celebration in full force.

In the bottom of the first inning last night, Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle hit a homer to make the score 2-1 Orioles. Afterwards, the cameras showed him in the dugout, and somebody had a black and orange beer funnel waiting for him.

Sure enough, Mountcastle got on one knee, and was pretending to chug like he was rushing for a fraternity.

Even the announcers couldn’t help but bust out laughing.

You gotta love it. If there’s one thing Major League Baseball needs, it’s faster play and more excitement.

And it appears we’ve gotten both this year, with the implementation of the pitch clock, and now this legendary beer funnel celebration.

Hopefully we’ll get to see a lot more of this from Mountcastle and the Orioles as the season goes on.
