Ashley McBryde Teases Acoustic Video Of New Single Dropping This Friday, “The Devil I Know”

I can’t wait to hear this whole song.

Ashley McBryde has a new single dropping this Friday called “The Devil I Know,” which sounds right in her usual sonic wheelhouse with her typical subject matter, as she sings about doing what she wants and not worrying about what anyone else thinks:

“Everybody’s got somethin’ to say,
About how I gotta change my ways,
I got somethin’ to say of my own,
Hell there’s hell everywhere I go,
I’m just stickin with,
The devil I know”

Yesterday, she teased a great little acoustic video of what’s to come, singing a few verses with her trusty acoustic guitar, and it sounds like she has another heater on her hands:

“#TheDevilIKnow is out Friday, 4.7! Pre-save / pre-add it now at the link in bio. #newmusic #acoustic.”

Ashley previously released her current single at country radio “Light On In The Kitchen” last month, so hopefully, an official album announcement is coming soon.

She released her last solo studio album Never Will in 2020, and most recently put out a fantastic collaborative concept project called Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville last September, which was nominated for a Grammy at this years award show in the Best Country Album category (though Willie Nelson ultimately took home the award).

Ashley is also fresh off her first Grammy win for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Carly Pearce for their duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” and in the post-win press rounds, Ashley also spilled that new music is already coming soon:

“It’s time to release new music, And I know we just released ‘Lindeville’ back in September, but it’s time.

So there’s a new single coming at the end of February. More music right, ‘cuz what have I done for you lately? Let’s do some more stuff.”

Stay tuned… hopefully there’s more news to come on that front very soon.
