Tennessee Baseball Pays Tribute To Nashville School Shooting Victims

Tennessee baseball

On Monday, we were hit with the devastating news that three children and three staffers at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee were shot and killed by 28-year-old Audrey Hale, a former student at the school.

Thankfully enough, Metropolitan Nashville Police quickly arrived to the scene, and fatally shot Hale before committing anymore murders.

This is the most gutsy and heroic bodycam footage I’ve ever seen, as the officers pushed straight to the shooter, and officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo took the shooter down.

WARNING: GRAPHIC FOOTAGE

Although the situation could’ve been much worse, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to know that six innocent lives were lost in a senseless act, and our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to every family involved.

With that being said, one Tennessee school is paying tribute the best way they know how, and it’s the University of Tennessee.

When the Volunteers played their baseball game against the LSU Tigers yesterday, they placed stickers of The Covenant School’s logo along with other decals.

You have to respect the move, especially since the shooting happened real close to home, as Knoxville and Nashville are less than three hours apart from each other.

Classy move Tennessee, classy move.
