Parker McCollum Performs Honky Tonk Heartbreaker “Handle On You” On ‘The Tonight Show’

Parker McCollum country music

Parker McCollum took his Gold single to the national TV stage.

The Texas native performed “Handle On You” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, which was just certified Gold by the RIAA earlier this week.

Simply, that means it has moved over 500,000 units since it was released last year:

In the honky tonk heartbreaker, Parker finds himself drinking to get over a break-up and trying to get a handle on his emotions through the bottom of a bottle, knowing that he shouldn’t be drinking so much but, “I tell myself that I should quit but I don’t listen to drunks.”

I just love that line…

A co-write by Parker and Monty Criswell, it will be included on Parker’s forthcoming studio album Never Enough, which is dropping soon on May 12th.

Easily one of my favorite radio singles put out in 2022, it recently became his third career top 5 song at country radio after it cracked the fifth spot this week, so it’s clearly resonating with fans all over the country in more ways than one.

You love to see a good old fashioned country song crushin’ it like that…
