Another Gold record for Parker McCollum.

His current single “Handle On You” is officially certified Gold by the RIAA, meaning it has moved over 500,000 units since it was released last year.

Of the new accomplishment, Parker says it means the world that his fans keep supporting him and his music:

“Another Gold record – what an awesome thing to be able to say.

I can’t thank the fans enough for always showing up. Y’all keep this whole thing going and I couldn’t do it without you.”

In the honky tonk heartbreaker, Parker finds himself drinking to get over a break-up and trying to get a handle on his emotions through the bottom of a bottle, knowing that he shouldn’t be drinking so much but, “I tell myself that I should quit but I don’t listen to drunks.”

I just love that line…

A co-write by Parker and Monty Criswell, it will be included on Parker’s forthcoming studio album Never Enough, which is dropping on May 12th.

Easily one of my favorite radio singles put out in 2022, it recently became his third career top 5 song at country radio after it cracked the fifth spot this week.

And if the tune keeps up the momentum it clearly has for a few more weeks or months, don’t be surprised to see it sitting at #1 here soon.
