Imagine taking your dog out for a walk, enjoying the beautiful weather, when all of a sudden a raccoon leaps out of nowhere and starts chasing you and your dog down like a bat out of hell.
Sounds like a horror movie if you ask me.
I’m incredibly thankful that I’ve made it through 25 years of my life, and have gotten attacked by zero raccoons although I’ve spotted some several times. Normally, swatting at them with a broomstick will get the job done most of the time.
I don’t know, I guess I’ve just always thought of raccoons to be skittish creatures, who would only attack you if they were sick or something.
But boy, was I wrong, and this video right here is complete proof.
As you can see in the footage, I woman comes sprinting around the corner with her dog on the leash, and screaming at the top of her lungs.
Why is she screaming like a mad woman, you may ask?
Because a raccoon is trailing her and her dog by only a few inches.
As soon as she gets to the front door, the raccoon appears to bite at the dog, and looks like it catches a piece of it before backing off.
I just hope the raccoon didn’t have rabies or anything, but judging by the dog’s reaction, it appears it didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
Man, the stuff you’ll catch on Ring doorbell systems nowadays, I’ll tell ya what.
