Black Bear “Drops It Low” While Trying To Scratch Its Back On A Tree

Black bear

We all know that the bear is simply scratching its back, but why is it that these videos never miss?

I feel like you see them all the time with dogs rubbing up against a couch or something similar, but when it gets to the large scale animals like a bear, the dancing movement is that much funnier.

Regardless of if this bear is scratching its back or actually busting a move, I think it is safe to say that the wild animal is having the time of its life. Just relaxing by the road, leaning up against a tree and watching the world go by. Only thing that is really missing is a bottle of beer in its hand (or I guess paw).

I hope someday I can find something that makes me as happy as this tree makes this bear.

We’ve all had that one itch on our back that is just in the right place to where we can’t reach it. We have all been this bear on the corner of a wall somewhere at some point, finally reaching the spot and thus letting go of any worry in the world we had.

Of course, the bear doesn’t have access to the technological advancement known as the “extendable back scratcher” like we humans do, so it had to make the most of what it had on hand (or paw again? I don’t know):

The bear dances exactly like I do when I’m 5 beers deep at a wedding reception.

I took the liberty of playing the video of the dancing bear with different songs and genres of music, and I found that these three songs below match up particularly well with the bear’s killer dance moves:

“Jolene” by Dolly Parton (start it at the 8 second mark)

“All My Ex’s Live in Texas” by George Straight (start it at the 10 second mark)

“Get Low” by Lil Jon (start it at the 20 second mark)

I know this is a country music website, but the bear is literally “getting low” in the video, so I felt like I would be doing a disservice to not include the Lil Jon club classic. Remember, this is my list, so if you are upset about the songs I chose to link up to the bear “shaking what its momma bear gave it,” you are welcome to create your own.

Plus, watch the video again and sing to yourself “to the windooooowww (to the window), to the wall (to the WALL).” Now can you see it? It is perfect right?

Luckily, this is the internet and some folks to the liberty to add their own music to the video. None of my choices (idiots) but some good ones nonetheless.

A little Flo Rida:

Hopefully this funny bear video makes you laugh, and maybe now you’ll too be in search for the elusive “back scratching tree” of your life. I mean it more in the metaphorical sense, but if you do happen to find some suitable bark for backscratching, more power to you.
