Wolverine Comes Right Up To A Wolf Like They Are Friends

Wolverine

Just some old pals.

Two of the most known predators to roam our woods.

Wolves are large carnivorous mammals that belong to the dog family. They are social animals that live in packs, which are usually led by an alpha male. Wolves can weigh up to 175 pounds. Wolves are known for their hunting abilities and they prey on a variety of animals, including elk, moose, deer and even bison.

Wolverines are solitary mammals that belong to the Mustelidae family. They are known to eat almost anything they can find, from small rodents to dead animals and even taking out large mammals like deer. Wolverines are much smaller than wolves, with males weighing up to 50 pounds. They are known for their incredible strength and agility, which allows them to take on animals much larger than them.

Wolves and wolverines are known to interact with each other in the wild. In some cases, wolves have been known to prey on wolverines, especially if they are competing for the same food source. But, wolverines are not easy prey and they have been known to fight off wolves when necessary.

These guys seem to be… pals though?

A wolf is seen just laying down relaxing, enjoying the day as if he were any other dog. A wolverine comes trotting not view and you think there’s going to be a wild battle. But, the wolf doesn’t flinch and seems as content as ever.

The wolverine walks around and the wolf just lays there happy as a clam.

This is one of those rare, unexplainable interactions… I’m not sure how, but neither one seemed threatened by the other.

A once-in-a-lifetime thing to witness, for sure.
