Happy St. Patrick’s weekend to all who celebrate.

I spent about about 16 years living in Chicago (where Whiskey Riff was founded) and I’ll tell you what, it’s bigger than Christmas. Drinking green beer at 6 AM, dying the river green, the South Side Irish Parade… if you’ve never experienced true Paddy’s Day debauchery, then head to Chicago, or even Boston, and live a little.

Obviously, St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, but people are going to be partying the hardest today. And what better way to celebrate the day as a country fan, than downing a pints of Guinness and cranking up a country-fied Irish party song?

The rodeo saddle bronc rider turned country artist, Chancey Williams, dropped his festive boot stompin’ Irish jam “On The Tear Tonight” last a couple years back, and damn if it isn’t catchy as all hell. Talk about a song that’ll get you in the spirit for one of the best beer drinkin’ days on the planet, it’ll make you wish you were about 10 beers deep at an Irish pub (if you aren’t already).

Williams is quickly making a name for himself, and recently spent some time touring with the likes of Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, and Aaron Watson. And to piggyback off a stellar 2021, the man won 2022 Rocky Mountain CMA Entertainer of the Year, along with Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year. He also made his Grand Ole Opry debut this past year.

The hard work has paid off and he continues to carry momentum into 2024.
