Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson Are Reuniting In New Comedy Reality Series

McConaughey harrelson

Back in 2014, we were treated with an incredible acting duo, with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson starring in the smash hit TV show True Detective.

And while Seasons 2 and 3 failed to really live up to the first, Season 1 alone puts True Detective in the conversation among some of the best shows of all time.

That being said, here we are again in 2023, and it appears we’re getting yet another series featuring the two famed actors.

According to Variety, McConaughey and Harrelson are teaming up for a new Apple TV+ comedy series, but this time, they’re starring as themselves.

Created by David West Read, the untitled 10-episode half-hour comedy will show McConaughey and Harrelson, along with their families, attempting to live with each other on McConaughey’s Texas ranch.

Ya know what they say, you should never live with your best friend, because it always turns out with somebody hating the other, so this one oughta be interesting.

Apple TV+ describes the show as:

“A heartfelt odd couple love story revolving around the strange and beautiful bond between Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.”

David West Read is known for his work in projects like The Big Door Prize, Schitt’s Creek, and Broadway’s Juliet.

This oughta be a great one. Hollywood personalities don’t get more likeable than McConaughey and Harrelson. On top of that, how many times have we thought to ourselves:

“How legendary would it be to have a show of so and so living together?”

Well now, we’re finally getting it.

Although we don’t have any information regarding when this show will be dropping, just enjoy these two kicking back and talking about their time on True Detective:
