Riley Green Teases New Country Break Up Tune, “Talk To My Truck”

Riley Green country music

I’m gonna need the studio cut of this one ASAP.

Riley Green is back teasing more new music, and today, he shared an acoustic video of a heartbreaker called “Talk to My Truck.”

It’s a simple, and very Riley, concept, where he finds himself missing a girl he really loved, though he doesn’t think there’s ever a chance they can work it out because of how badly it ended.

He wonders if he should go back and try to talk to her or win her over, though he fears that he’ll most likely end up talking to his truck.

It’s right in his wheelhouse and is yet another super solid, super country, Riley tune:

“Talk to My Truck #newsong #countrymusic #weouthere.”

And just a few weeks ago, he teased another one called “I Like to Think That”:

I’m hoping that all of this new music means Riley might have a full project in the works, because he released his debut studio album Different ‘Round Here way back in 2019, so I’d say we’re well overdue for a sophomore record any day now.

He put out a few one-off singles last year, which included “Miles on Main,” “Wild Woman,” “I Hope She’s Drinkin’ Tonight,” and “Get Back Home,” in addition to his We Out Here: Live album.

And he has so many more great unreleased songs fans have been begging to hear on a record for a while now, like “They Don’t Make Them Like That No More” and “Mississippi Or Me” just to name a few, and it feels like we might getting close to something now.

Stay tuned…
