Ricky Gervais Has Hilarious Response For Movie Fans Begging Him To Host The Oscars: “F*ck That”

Ricky Gervais OSCARS

In case you were wondering, Ricky Gervais still hates Hollywood.

A few years ago, he completely ripped Hollywood a new one, delivering a nuclear-powered monologue as host of the Golden Globes.

He called out crooks like Felicity Huffman, big corporations like Apple and Disney, scumbag pedophiles, the racists in the Hollywood Foreign Press, the God-awful movie Cats, the Jeffrey Epstein’s “suicide” and more.

“He obviously didn’t kill himself, just like Jeffrey Epstein… shut up, I know he’s your friend but I don’t care.”

DAMN.

In closing, he told everyone accepting awards to shut the hell up with their virtue signaling speeches about politics and just get on with the show.

“So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world.

Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. If you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and f*ck off, OK?”

Hands down, it’s the best monologue in the history of awards show opening monologues.

And two years ago, ahead of the Academy Awards, Gervais took the opportunity to once again remind Hollywood just how much he can’t stand them.

“It’s The Oscars tonight! I wasn’t invited. Was it something I said?”

A+ troll job.

And this year, he was at it again, sharing a clip from a different Golden Globes:

And when someone suggested he should be hosting this year’s Academy Awards, instead of that cornball Jimmy Kimmel, he was straight to the point with his response:

“F*ck that.”
