Morgan Wallen Releases Beautiful, Acoustic Performance Video Of “Me + All Your Reasons”

This is easily one of the sleeper tracks on One Thing At A Time.

Morgan Wallen’s just-released behemoth of a 36-song third studio album has already been breaking records, as Spotify announced over the weekend that Wallen’s new album became the most streamed country album in a single day by a male artist.

It’s on track to break all sorts of huge records after the early data is recorded at the end of this week, which is when Billboard and the labels officially close release week and we’ll get a lot of the early numbers.

Anywho, in addition to putting out the new album, Morgan has been releasing new acoustic live performances of songs from the project for his One Record At A Time Sessions series, similar to what he did with the Dangerous Sessions after his sophomore studio album.

And I have to say, they’re easily my favorite versions of the songs, because Morgan has such an incredible twangy, gritty voice that truly shines with such a simple, stripped-back and country production.

His biggest asset has always been his vocal ability, and you can hear why when you listen to him sing in these acoustic sessions.

Today, he released the live performance video for “Me + All Your Reasons,” which is one of my early favorites from the record (but take that with a grain of salt at this point, I’m still fully working my way through it).

The song is a co-write by Morgan along with his friend and frequent collaborator Ernest, as well as Ashley Gorley and Ryan Vojtesak, where he sings about his heartbreak and how a girl he loved left him lonely with just his thoughts and all her reasons for leaving him.

Consider this my official petition to get Morgan to release all the acoustic sessions performances as a separate project on streaming platforms… they’re just so damn good:
