Tim McGraw has a new single coming soon.
He just announced over on Instagram that a song called “Standing Room Only” will be out everywhere next Friday, March 10th.
He previously teased something in the works, and if I had to guess, it seems like this is probably just the beginning of much more to come from him:
“Some of you guessed it! New single ‘Standing Room Only’ coming March 10th.
If we get 1,000 pre-saves on this today I’ll share a little bit of the song with you. Link in bio!”
He previously shared a pretty cryptic video on Instagram last week, saying that he’d created a playlist called McGraw Three-ten Twenty Three, which features a mix of #1’s, a couple international hits and a few deep cuts, as well.
Though he played it coy, he told fans to “pay attention,” and that they should make sure to “check out” the playlist on March 10th, and now we know why:
McGraw released his 15th solo studio album Here On Earth way back in 2020, so I’d say we’re well overdue for a new record.
And of course, Tim’s stayed busy with plenty of other projects outside of music, notably starring in the Paramount spinoff series 1883, where he played James Dutton alongside his real-life wife, Faith Hill, who played Margaret Dutton.
He also noted in his Instagram post about the new song that he might share a clip of it with fans ahead of the released, so stay tuned…
