One of the rarest sights in nature and it couldn’t have happened in a better place.
Every year, bull moose grow and shed their massive antlers, which would make you think it’s pretty common for someone to witness them falling off, but that is not the case at all.
Most hunterw will go their entire life without seeing this happen in person, but fortunately for us, we get to watch it from the comfort of our homes.
Tyra and Chance Bogert are residents of Houston, Alaska and are used to seeing moose on their doorbell camera, but this time they were fortunate enough to capture a bull shedding both of its antlers with a little shimmy and a quick shake of its head.
Moose antlers are a very sought after prize for hunters and collectors, so the couple couldn’t have been happier with where they ended up falling.
When asked by news station KCRA on the odds of this happening on their doorstep, the aptly named Chance said.
“I think that’s just a one-in-a-million chance.”
While I don’t know if the numbers exactly add up for that, there’s no denying this is truly an incredible sight to see.
