When it comes to the top patriotic songs of all time, Johnny Cash’s “Ragged Old Flag” ranks right up there with the best of ’em.
The song was the title track to the Man In Black’s smash hit 1974 project, as he sings about all the tragedy and triumphs the American flag has withstood throughout this country’s history.
Needless to say, the song will give you a great perspective on this nation’s history, and will truly make you thankful to live here in the United States.
With that being said, the song was featured in a Super Bowl commercial this past Sunday, and boy, it’ll get you pumped up.
The commercial kicks off with a number of members of America’s Youth Choir, and as “Ragged Old Flag” begins, you can hear the echoes from the choir throughout.
Throughout the commercial, you see a number of individuals observing the flag, including Marvel star Anthony Mackie, and former Marine Kyle Carpenter, the youngest ever recipient of the Medal of Honor at the age of 33, for his heroic efforts while fighting in Afghanistan in 2010.
A number of popular singers on TikTok were featured in the commercial as well, such as Naomi Joy Turner, and Malea Emma.
